With the determination of Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company to fulfill its social responsibility towards the city and supply part of its required water from Sirjan municipal sewage site, it considered it necessary to establish a company with a specialized mission in the field of water and sewage. In this regard, in 2016, Kimia Abersan Yavar Zamin Company (Kariz) was established with an initial capital of 15 billion Rials and started operating with the aim of setting up a sewage network in Sirjan and its suburbs, constructing a treatment plant and meeting part of the water needs of Gol Gohar mining industry. . For this purpose, according to the investment agreement between Kariz Company and Kerman Water and Sewerage Company, implementation of Sirjan municipal sewage network with an area of ​​388 km in the first phase and a total of 647 km in the whole city and also construction of the first module of wastewater treatment plant with outlet discharge 300 liters per second is on the agenda of this company and the operation of this project has been entrusted to Kariz Company for 35 years.
